The Middle School Wolverines Softball team improved to 2-1 with a 7-4 win over Athens Christian. The girls played their best game of the season with everyone making a key contribution in the field or at the plate. We had two key pop-ups caught by Molly Arrowood and a key bunt sacrifice by Ellie Crymes that gave us a key stop and a key run for securing the victory. The Wolverines had another solid performance on the mound from Emmy Soles who allowed two hits and recorded 12 strikeouts. The wolverines were lead at the plate by Emmy Soles who went 4-4 with a homerun and three RBI’s, Elli Crymes who went 1-2 with two RBI’s, Hannah Payne who went 1-2, Molly Arrowood who went 1-2, and Emily Bells who went 1-2. It was a great day to be a wolverine and always good to beat the crosstown rival!
