The middle school wolverines fought and battled through 11 errors to tie the game in the bottom of the 6th but could not hold onto the lead as 3 errors were committed in the inning. Yes, we had a tough day on the field but we were very proud of the girls for battling back after being down 8-2 to tie the game at 9-9 in the 6th. The opportunity is to minimize the errors as we plan for a re-match with GWA next Wednesday. At the plate, Emmy Soles lead the team going 4 for 5 with a homerun, triple, and 6 RBI’s, Hays Simmons went 2-4, and Hannah Payne went 1-3 to roundout the hitting. We had some bright moments in the field as Ashley Oaks caught an infield fly and did a good job at 3rd base filling in for Molly Arrowood who is nursing an injury.
