The middle school wolverines softball team evened their record to 1-1 with a 9-1 victory over Oglethorpe County Friday afternoon. The wolverines were lead at the plate by Hays Simmons(2-2), Emmy Soles(2-5), and Hannah Payne(1-2). The wolverines were very aggressive at the plate the entire day as each player worked the count and put the ball in play. Emmy Soles had a solid performance on the mound allowing two hits, no earned runs and recording 16 strikeouts. We are very proud of the girls and the great attitude they bring to the field each day.The wolverines will travel to Athens Christian Tuesday for a 4:30pm game and looking for another good day on the field.
