ACS Defeats Prince 17-3.
The Lady Wolverines fell to Athens Christian 17-3 in 4 innings on Thursday afternoon. Mama said they would be days like this as the Wolverines committed 14 errors and give up 12 unearned runs. Annabeth pitched then entire game taking the loss, although she only gave up 5 earned runs. Bethany Campbell led the way at the plate going 2 for 2 and scoring a run. Chandler Carey was 1 for 2 with an RBI, run scored and 3 stolen bases. Kadijah Arnold continued to swing a hot bat going 1 for 2 with the one out being a hard line drive.
I know things are tough right now, but it's not time to quit. This is where you really start to grow. God's Word tells us in Jas 1:2-4 NIrV "My brothers and sisters, you will face all kinds of trouble. When you do, think of it as pure joy. (3) Your faith will be put to the test. You know that when that happens it will produce in you the strength to continue. (4) The strength to keep going must be allowed to finish its work. Then you will be all you should be. You will have everything you need."
