Lady Wolverines fall to Commerce 6-5
The Prince Avenue Varsity Softball team came to play Tuesday night, but just fell short in a 6-5 loss to Commerce. Annabeth Pruett took the mound for the Lady Wolverines and pitched a great game allowing only 5 earned runs while striking out 3. She also led the way at the plate going 2 for 3 with a triple and 2 runs scored. Kadijah Arnold played flawlessly at shortstop make several very good plays. Bethany Campbell was 1 for 4 with a double, Sydney Roberts was 1 for 4 and Chandler Carey was 1 for 3 with 2 RBI's to round out the 5 hits for Prince. It was a well played, well coached game and a complete turnaround from the ACS game. We are very proud of the way you came together and played Softball on this Tuesday night, keep working hard and it will continue to pay off.
