George Walton Defeats Prince 10-2.
The Lady Wolverines fell to George Walton 10-2 but in my opinion looked like a much improved softball team. Annabeth Pruett was on the mound for the Wolverines and only gave up 5 earned runs to the number 5 team in the state. AB limited her walks to 3 and only allowed 7 hits. Kadijah Arnold led the Wolverines at the plate going 2 for 3 and scoring a run. Prince managed 5 hits to GW's 7 with Annabeth Pruett, Bethany Campbell and Chandler Carey contributing a hit each. Bethany Campbell also had an RBI. The bad part was the Lady Wolverines committed 5 errors leading to 5 unearned runs. The Lady Wolverines also turned another double play. I am really proud of the way they represented today and I think ACS better be ready Thursday. Go Lady Wolverines!!!! Enjoy the Slideshow below, it pauses on mouse over.
